External System Call to Merge Server

  • Select External System Call to Merge Server from the drop-down menu.

This option needs to be selected when merging is being initiated from the Products Merge Server API.

  • To view which product functionality is available when using this type of merge initiation, click on the Permitted Functions tab.


  • External Systems Call to Merge Server is only available in Enterprise and Ultimate editions of the product.
  • For this option to be available a merge server needs to be setup via the SharePoint application server's Central Admin.
