Why am I getting an error when I use a DateTime tag in a Business Rule?

If an error message gets thrown stating; “One or more of the supplied values are not of the correct type. Tag: “tag_name”” when confirming a Business Rule that compares a datetime value to a datetime field, this is the issue:

When using a date in a comparison for anything in Qorus, it has to be in the format set in the date time settings on your machine. To find the datetime settings go to control panel. Qorus uses your culture setting to validate the values format used for the comparison.
